Always a delightful home style comfort food meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff works as hard as they can while not rushing you to turn a table. Nothing fancy, just good taste. The scone is a treat too !
Great and fast service. Large portion sizes. They actually managed to get my steak right the first time!!
Solid chicken fried steak. Breakfast certainly beats Denny's. They've been there forever and will be going forward. It's great to see Midvale denizens in their element. I always feel right at home. No pretense whatsoever other than the restaurant logo embroidered on the headrest of the booths. I'll continue to patronize because it's comfort food done right. Chuck-A-Rama tries but where they fall short, they try to make up for with volume. It's hollow and empty, everything that this place isn't.
My whole family has been coming to the Midvale Mining Cafe for over 30+ years for their Prime Rib/Salmon lunch on Friday's when we are off work on that day. The food is excellent and service can't be beat. We also love their scones and honeybutter. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Keep up the good work!
