Delicious BBQ and best Waiter ever!!! Craig who is a new waiter served us and was the most genuine and awesome dude!! It was very nice to get out and meet someone who brought a southern home town vibe to the city. My boys loved him & I recommend coming here! PS the plate of ice cream gratis was great! :) I wish more people were like Craig.
My husband got the free veterans Meal which he loved. He got the barbecued ribs. I got the beef brisket sandwich. The sandwich is loaded with beef and my husband's ribs were quite meaty. Their fries are pretty good but kind of thick and not crispy enough for our taste. But great service and a free meal so how could we go wrong.
Famous Dave's always has wonderful food, but the wait staff here were especially awesome. They checked on us consistently, seemed happy to accommodate us, and went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied with our dinner. Delicious food, HUGE servings, great atmosphere, and very fairly priced.
I love love love this barbecue place. It has amazing food and great service. My waiters and waitresses always smile and they usually offer a free dessert too if we had to wait a little while for our food!! I will definitely be coming back but the cornbread and brownie dessert are a must if you are planning to go!!
We ordered the large American platter to share south the table. It took 45 minutes to get it. And the waiter who smelled like alcohol and cigarettes discounted our ticket by 50%. When it's a weekend night, cooks take the night off. We were ones who first were seated. Four tables left while we waited for our food. I thought it might be the fact that we are minorities. We were placed in the back corner. The chicken was dry and they gave is a tiny bit of brisket.
