On Monday the eighth of March, I found an Ad on RV Trader for a

Having a ten campgrounds to choose from, where I never have to make a reservation, and where I can just show up, whenever the mood strikes me, is great.

We never call ahead, we just show up, and they always have plenty of room for us. I tend to be very spur of the moment, when it comes to travel. I once convinced my wife (at 11:00 pm at night) that we should wake up all the kids and drive to Disneyland. Another time I talked her into going on a trip to Southern Cali, during Sacrament Meeting, we were on the road, and had passed Nephi before the third hour of the block was over. (we live in Salt Lake Valley)

We easily spend 4-10 weeks a year at a variety of the ten campgrounds. Often visiting two or three of them on a single trip. I can telecommute on a laptop, while the kids swim, hike, explore, etc.

After calling camping world There number was also posted in the ad, I was told that "its a great deal come take a look"...

I ended up calling RV trader and they told me that Camping world has an account with them and they list tons of RVs daily and NOBODY else could have listed it but them... Now is it just me or does this sound like they put awesome deals on line just to get you into there lot?

After driving for 40+ min I was told after i arrived "Sorry the RV had been sold" but i have some other for you to look at. even though I told them my budget was 15,000 they showed me 5th wheel after 5th wheel way over my budget, I ended up leaving and returned the next day with my husband to look at some other RVs, with hopes to look at some more in my price range (another 40 min drive) we got a different salesman this time (he was nice) started to show me more of what was in my price range, BUT took me back to the same 2007 sundance that they told me was sold the day before, I told him that they told me yesterday that this 5th wheel was already sold? this time he claimed the financing had fallen through with the other buyers, I loved the 5th wheel so much that we just returned to the front to buy it. "WRONG" When we questioned the price he said it was $18,000 NOT the $14,859 that we seen on the web site. when I corrected him and showed the internet price that i pulled up on my mobile phone, he told me that he didn't think that was right and he would contact corporate, to see if they could give it to me for that price? He came back and told me they couldn't honer that price because they didn't post the ad on RV trader and none of them had any idea who did???? But what they could do is give me a discount and drop the price to $15,295... Hmmm well now this sounds shady! even though it was only a $600 difference it still bothered me so much that I left with out the 5th wheel in tow.

The facilities are clean and maintained, and world class.

I wish I didn't have to write this review, I really try to work things out before it comes to something like this.

in Draper, UT 84020 posted for $14,859.

We are on or fourth year as members. We have a very large family (seven kids) and have found camperworld to be a great and easy vacation that our kids love.

I still really want this 5th wheel, although this was a perfect fit for my family, I feel deceived, and taken advantage of. I hope they will read this and see my frustration and want to work something out.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience at Camping World. I apologize for the long review but, if your buying a RV from this company you should read this.

Very dishonest company. I would love to find out how/where to join the class action lawsuit. We used to love camping in many of their campgrounds but over the years we have seen many unfavorable changes in it's management, rules and regulations. Very greedy and dishonest management.

While in Las Vegas, we paid $3000 for a membership in Camperworld. We were to have "ownership" at one camp site with the right to camp at all the Camperworld sites in Utah. We were also promised the right to camp at a reduced rate hundreds of campgrounds in Canada and the USA. Annual dues of $150. Last year Camperworld underwent some sort of reorganization. I was sent a Family Form to fill out with information on all my family campers that may camp with me or without me. I was also requested to send a photocopy of a signed photo ID. (Drivers' Licence or Passport). Since they already have our information, I did not return the form giving them personal information and email addresses for my family members. They will not be travelling and camping with me. I phoned and I was advised that unless I sent the ID copies and the family form, I will not be sent my updated membership card. I refused to copy the ID because of photo identity concerns. I want out. I asked how to sell my membership, and was advised that I only have "rights" to camp at one site only. I no longer have access to any other Camperworld property. The other properties that I could use, are subject to annual fees, and are not included in the Camperworld membership - so I was mislead. If someone was foolish enough to purchase my membership under these circumstances, the purchase must be approved by Camperworld staff!!! I have been scammed.

-2007 HEARTLAND SUNDANCE 2900RKS Used Fifth Wheel-

I purchased my membership from another member paid an excessive transfer fee which was reduced the next month. this is a very dishonest company. went once during the year and now after paying my membership dues for this year they decided to access a special assessment fee of $ 880.00 with no notice but after everyone paid there dues. I will be a willing party in any class action lawsuit against this company. I hate the lies, the parks jerks for managers and their family policy. They talk the walk but don't walk the talk. Anyone wanting to purchase my membership and wanting to be part of this crap just let me know.
